Ring sizing guide
Find Your Perfect Fit
Finding the perfect ring should be fun and easy, not stressful! Even if you’ve never measured your finger before, don’t worry - we’ve got you covered. Here’s how to figure out your size in just a few simple steps.
What You’ll Need
- A strip of paper or string
- A pen
- A ruler
That’s it! No fancy tools needed.
Measure Your Finger
Wrap the paper or string around the base of the finger where the ring will sit.
Mark where the ends meet with a pen.
Use a ruler to measure the length of the paper/string in millimeters.
Don’t Forget the Knuckles
If your knuckles are larger than the base of your finger, it’s important to measure there too.
Choose the larger measurement for your ring size, so the ring can slide comfortably over the widest part.
Find Your Ring Size
Once you have your measurement, check our ring size chart (below) to find your size.
Remember: your fingers can swell or shrink depending on the time of day and temperature. It’s best to measure at the end of the day when your fingers are warm.
Tips for a Comfortable Fit
The ring should slide on easily but not fall off.
If you’re between sizes, go for the larger size. You can always add a little ring adjuster if needed.
Avoid measuring when your hands are cold, as fingers are smaller then.
Still unsure? No problem!
Many local jewelers can measure your ring size for free. You can also order a ring sizer tool online, they’re inexpensive and easy to use.
Remember: A perfectly fitting ring should feel like it belongs on your finger: secure, comfortable, and just a little magical.
